Workshop: Temporary shelter and short term solutions (in Cieszyn)

On our final day in Cieszyn we ran a workshop reacting to a pressing issue in the city by designing a short-term and low-cost solution to Hajduk Square. The aim was to provide much needed organisation to the transport network and provide shelter for the thousands of students and commuters, especially with the cold winter months just arond the corner.

Models were the order of the day.

In the evening we presented our schemes to a varied audience of the city’s authorities, local business owners and public:

Thank you very much to everyone in Cieszyn who got involved with our events and helped us understand more about the town. Also, to everyone who helped translate, guide us when we were lost and recommend some excellent evenings out. A special thanks to everyone at Zamek for their hospitality and providing an awesome environment to stay and work in. See you soon Plymouth!
