The first workshop for this year/term took place yesterday organised by Nuria Lombardero (her weblog: http://nuriaalvarezlombardero.blogspot.com/) from the AA. The workshop dealt with doors and the politics behind the types of doors used. It might sound simple but it’s not. After a presentation on how doors change the relationship between inside and outside, we proceeded in groups into putting these ideas in practice by intervening on the openings of our very own Roland Levinsky Building (in models and drawings, we didn’t actually hack into the doors of the building as fun as that sounds).
ps. This post says it better I think (with a much nicer image :S)
